
Ardian-backed Brico Privé acquires Noova
Brico Privé, an online DIY, gardening and home improvement products retailer backed by Ardian, has acquired e-commerce marketplace Noova.
Founded in Toulouse in 2012, Brico Privé posted an €80m turnover in the past 12 months. It has facilities in France, Spain and Italy and organises private sales of brands such as Grohe, Bosch, Legrand, Ryobi and Dewalt.
Ardian backed the Toulouse-based e-commerce website in June 2015 with €2.5m, and later in 2016 with €7m; both investments came from the Ardian Growth Fund and secured minority stakes in the company.
In September 2017, Brico Privé acquired electric tools distributor Racetools.
