
Turenne, M Capital back StaffMe
Turenne Capital Partenaires and M Capital Partners have backed a €3m series-A funding round for French recruitment startup StaffMe.
The company previously raised a €500,000 seed round from private investors.
Turenne is a venture capital firm with €680m in assets under management, investing €500,000-1.5m in companies operating in France with annual sales ranging between €5-100m.
The fresh capital will support StaffMe's expansion in France, though the company will later aim to expand internationally.

Founded in 2016, StaffMe connects workers with available temporary work posts in areas like sales, administrative tasks, events, and logistics. It has around 1,000 clients and has 25,000 workers signed up to its platform. Temporary workers that sign up are self-employed freelancers that send invoices to get paid via the service. The company takes a commission on the payment. The firm is based in Paris and employs 15 people.
