
M Capital backs $3.7m series-A funding round for Intuilab
French private equity firm M Capital Partners has taken part in a $3.7m series-A funding round for Toulouse-based digital signage company Intuilab.
Private investment company IRDI Soridec Gestion also took part in the financing along with two business angels and BPI France.
The fresh capital will be used to expand Intuilab's inbound marketing efforts and web presence.
Previous funding
M Capital led a €1.2m seed round for the company in October 2011. Early-stage investor Wiseed also took part.
Company
Established in 2002, Intuilab is a developer of multi-touch and sensor-based applications for digital signage. Headquartered in Toulouse, France, with another location in Chicago, US, the firm has clients in multiple retail sectors including groceries, apparel, convenience, telecoms, banking and insurance. Its major customers include Microsoft, SAP, Colliers and Capgemini. It generates 50% of its sales in the US.
