
Idinvest, Brighteye Ventures back Ornikar
Idinvest and Brighteye Ventures have taken part in a €10m series-A round for French online driving school Ornikar.
Previous investors Elaia Partners and Partech Ventures also reinvested in the company. The VC firms first backed Ornikar with an investment of around €1m in 2014.
The startup intends to use the round of funding to expand to another European geography in 2018.

Founded in 2014 and based in Paris, Ornikar operates an online platform for candidates to learn and practice traffic laws without having to go through a physical school. The company claims that 90,000 students have used its services and that its revenues have been increasing by 15% month-on-month.
