Keensight-backed Pixid buys Carerix

Keensight invested in Pixid in 2015 in a deal that saw Pixid reorganise its capital structure around its management team.

A major part of the expansion plan following the deal was to foster Pixid's international expansion. The acquisition of Carerix plays into that plan in the Benelux region, following a number of initiatives to develop Pixid in the UK and Germany in the past couple of years.

All Pixid shareholders reinvested in the business pro rata of their existing stakes in order to finance the bolt-on, Unquote understands.

Established in 2004 by recruitment firms Adecco France, Manpower France and Ranstad, Pixid provides an online system for managing temporary work. Pixid's software-as-a-service enables users to manage their workforce needs through a platform that facilitates candidate screening, pay statements, contracts and invoices, and ensures current regulatory requirements are met. It is aiming for a €25m turnover in 2018.
