Index Ventures et al. back Slite
VC firm Index Ventures, US-based seed accelerator Y Combinator and startup incubator eFounders have invested €3.7m in French note-taking application developer Slite.
Index's most recent vehicle is Index Ventures VIII, which closed on $550m in 2016.
The financing will allow the startup to accelerate the development of its product and hire employees, both in Paris and San Francisco.

Founded in 2016, Slite develops a notes application designed to foster collaborative work in companies.
Slite claims the app is used by around 3,500 active users in 250 companies, including AB Tasty, PayFit and Spendesk. Headquartered in Paris, the business is also based in San Francisco.
