BPI France et al. in €7m round for Welcome to the Jungle
BPI France, Kima Ventures and the Xavier Niel fund have joined previous backers for a €7m investment in French recruitment platform Welcome to the Jungle.
The latest funding round follows on from a first held in January 2017, when Welcome to the Jungle raised an initial €2m – backers included Jean-Paul Guisset, who launched the fund SGPA, and Michael Benabou, the co-founder of Vente-privée. Including this round, the company has raised a total of €9m to date.
With the fresh capital, the company plans on accelerating its development in France and begin expanding internationally. It plans to launch its platform outside France by late 2018 and intends to hire additional staff members.
