
Partech et al. inject $34m into Platform.sh
A consortium of investors has backed French cloud platform Platform.sh in a $34m series-C round.
Partech invested alongside Idinvest Partners, US-based Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV), SNCF Digital Ventures and previous backer Hi Inov. The latter is the venture capital arm of investment firm Dentressangle Initiatives.
Platform.sh will use the investment to accelerate its market strategy in North America and China, as well as support its growing customer base in the regions.
Hi Inov, Isai and Alven Capital injected €5.3m in a series-B round for the business in 2014.

Founded in 2014 and based in Paris, Platform.sh is a cloud platform-as-a-service. The startup claims to serve 650 enterprise customers worldwide, including Magento, Gap, the Financial Times, the British Council, and Hachette Book Group.
