HIG-backed SLPA bolts on Eco-dex
HIG Capital-backed medical supplies provider Santa Lucia Pharma Apps (SLPA) has acquired an 85% stake in France-based Eco-dex.
Eco-dex will continue to operate under its own brand and be managed by its current CEO and president Loïc Bessin.
Following the acquisition, SLPA expects to extend and improve its product offering, consolidate its market position in Europe and expand further internationally.
HIG acquired Piacenza-based SLPA in July 2017. Unquote understands that the GP deployed capital from its HIG Europe Capital Partners II fund, which held a final close on €825m in July 2013, surpassing its €760m target after just three months on the road. The fund is now around 70% deployed.
