Idinvest backs MP Hygiene
Idinvest Partners has acquired a minority stake in France-based MP Hygiene, a manufacturer and distributor of disposable hygiene products.
Idinvest will support the business in its organic growth. MP Hygiene plans to generate a €100m turnover by 2020.
Idinvest used its Novi 2 fund for the transaction. The GP disclosed this is the 24th investment for the €290m vehicle, which closed in 2015. The vehicle is almost 80% deployed, the GP said.
Company
With roots dating back to 1865, MP Hygiene specialises in the production of cleaning wipes made of cotton wool, as well as hand hygiene products for B2B sale. The business has a focus on environmentally friendly practises.
Based in Annonay, MP Hygiene generated a €70m turnover in 2017.
