BPI France, CM-CIC back Bretagne Télécom
BPI France and CM-CIC Investissement have invested €20m in Bretagne Télécom, a France-based provider of telecoms services for SMEs.
CM-CIC Investissement is a new backer of the business, while BPI France has been invested in Bretagne Télécom since 2015. The fresh capital is composed of both equity and debt, according to a statement.
The GPs intend to help the company to expand its business reach in France, mainly in the Paris area, and diversify its offering. The business plans to employ up to 150 people by 2020.

Founded in 2005 and based in Châteaubourg, Bretagne Télécom specialises in telecommunications, cloud services and IT systems outsourcing. The business operates eight data centres and has 3,000 clients, according to its website. Its turnover was €18m in 2018, against €8m generated when BPI France first invested in the business in 2015.
