CM-CIC Innovation et al. invest €7m in Diota
A consortium of backers have injected €7m into France-based Diota, a publisher of software for digitisation and process optimisation for industrial companies.
A consortium of backers led by CM-CIC Innovation, including the company's historical investors Safran Corporate Ventures, Supernova Invest and Calao Finance, have invested €5m. The remainder is provided in the form of a debt facility by BPI France, and other lenders.
The fresh capital will help Diota to continue its European expansion, started in 2017, with the opening of its first subsidiary in Germany.
Company
Founded in 2009 and based in Verrières-le-Buisson, Diota designs, develops and distributes software that uses augmented reality technology to optimise processes. These services allow digital continuity between industrial information systems and shop floor operations, thus improving productivity, quality and traceability throughout the product's life cycle.
Diota serves several industries, including aerospace (clients such as Dassault Aviation, Safran, Sonaca), naval (DCNS, STX), railways (SNCF), automotive (VW, Daimler, Opel, Audi, PSA), and petrochemicals (AirLiquide, Total, Areva).
