
Cita Investissement backs Atrium Capital
French investment firm Cita Investissement has acquired a stake in Atrium Capital, a France-based medical and industrial equipment leasing and rental service.
The size of the investment and of the stake acquired remain undisclosed. Cita is an investment fund created in 2013 and sponsored by sovereign wealth funds BPI France and Kuwait Investment Authority. It makes unquoted investments in businesses with the aim to foster greater cooperation between France and Kuwait. The fund secures minority stakes in growth and venture capital transactions.
The deal was intermediated by corporate finance house Largillière Finance on behalf of the investor. Atrium is planning to use the fresh funding to increase its geographical reach in France and bolster its commercial teams.

Founded in 2013, Atrium Capital is an equipment leasing and rental service, focused particularly on the medical sector. Its Atrium Capital Industrie subsidiary offers equipment for the industrial sector as well. It generates revenues of €10m.
