GFC in €20m series-B for real estate search engine Proprioo
Global Founders Capital (GFC), Rocket Internet and Picus Capital have provided a €20m series-B funding round to Paris-based digital real estate agency Proprioo.
The startup intends to use the fresh capital to consolidate its position in the French market and expand in 40 new cities across France. In addition, it plans to scale up its team of 20 people by hiring up to 200 staff in the next two years, and will enlarge its product offering by adding new services and features to its platform.
Previous funding
Following a €1m seed round provided by GFC, Picus and Kima Ventures in September 2017, Proprioo raised a €5m series-A funding round from GFC and Picus in May 2018.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Paris, Proprioo is a digital real estate agency that uses machine learning technology to match real estate adverts with qualified potential buyers. The startup sells properties on its platform, deploys estate agents to give a free estimate within 24 hours and charges a commission of 1.99%.
