Highgate Ventures et al. invest $10m in HostnFly

The round was led by Highgate Ventures, a New York-headquartered early-stage and growth equity investor focused on the hospitality, travel, lodging and real estate sectors. Existing shareholders, including Partech Ventures and Kerala Ventures, also participated in the financing.

Currently managing homes in France, with a strong presence in Paris, Lyon and Marseille, the startup aims to expand in Spain and Italy in the coming months and is opportunistically reviewing other geographies. HostnFly intends to recruit 50 more people in the next 12 months and will consider the acquisition of companies in the sector.

A first round of funding saw Partech, Kerala and Kima Ventures injecting €2.5m in Q3 2017.

Company
Founded in 2016 and based in Paris, HostnFly offers its customers a rental management service for their home. The full-service management platform takes on tasks such as creating ads, handling keys, selecting guests and communicating with them, housekeeping, and linen supplies. It claims to provide 30% more revenue on average than an Airbnb rental for its customers and save an average of 40 hours per year in managing rentals.
