Ace Management, Idinvest et al. invest €5m in TrustInSoft
Ace Management, Idinvest and a group of business angels have invested €5m in France-based cybersecurity and cyberinsurance firm TrustInSoft.
The fresh capital will help the startup expand internationally.
TrustInSoft is the first investment from Ace Management's cybersecurity-focused fund Brienne III, according to a statement. Launched in Q1 2018 with a target of €150m, the fund held a €80m first close last year. The vehicle focuses prominently on cybersecurity, aerospace, maritime, defence and security SMEs in France, and provides tickets of €1-10m in early-stage and expansion deals.
Tikehau Capital acquired the private equity firm Ace Management for an enterprise value of €6.5m around a year ago.
Previous funding
Idinvest Partners invested $1.2m in TrustInSoft in 2017 to help the company hire code developers in the US and Europe.

Founded in 2013, TrustInSoft's software products are designed to reduce cyber risks, lower the cost of designing safety-critical systems, and reduce liabilities. The company also offers professional services and expertise to formally audit existing software components for security issues. The company is based in Paris and has clients in France, the US and Asia.
