
Iris Capital, Idinvest et al. inject $12.3m into Yubo
A consortium of investors has injected $12.3m into Paris-based Yubo, a social media platform helping young people to make friends online.
Iris Capital and Idinvest Partners, alongside historical investor Alven, Sweet Capital, and Village Global, took part in the round.
This new round of funding will support Yubo's international expansion into new regions and accelerate its product development.
The business received seed funding in 2015 from Numa and business angel Eduardo Ronzano, according to the website Crunchbase.

Launched in 2015 and based in Paris, Yubo is a social media app for young people under 25, focusing in particular on helping teenagers meet new people and create friendships.
Users have formed more than 2 billion friendships on the platform since its launch, according to the company. The startup generates gross revenues of approximately $10m.
