
Five Elms et al. back SimpliField $11m series-A
US-based growth equity investor Five Elms Capital has led a $11m series-A round for French retail-performance software provider SimpliField.
SimpliField plans to use its most recent fundraising round to significantly increase hiring in sales, marketing and product development. It will expand in the US, opening New York headquarters.
Kima Ventures first provided seed funding to the business in 2014, and Runa Capital, CapHorn Invest and other angel investors structured an expansion funding round of €3.5m three years later.

Established in 2013, SimpliField helps brands and retailers reduce costs, increase sales and drive deeper, longer-lasting customer relationships. The company's mobile-first platform allows real-time collaboration between a retailer's store teams, field teams and headquarters. LVMH, L'Oreal, Estée Lauder, Samsung and Sony are some of its clients. The business is currently based in Paris.
