Generis backs Kickmaker
French GP Generis Capital Partners has acquired a minority stake in France-based Kickmaker, a company that supports businesses in the industrialisation process of high-tech projects.
The GP has acquired a minority stake through a €5m capital increase transaction. The management team, led by founders Eric Elmlas and Vincent Despatin, has retained the majority of the business.
The GP will help the business open new offices in France and in Europe, and continue its recruitment efforts.
Generis is currently investing via its maiden fund, Entreprendre et Croissance 1 fund, which closed on €72m in 2019.

Founded in 2016, Kickmaker supports companies (startups, SMEs and large groups) in the industrialisation of their high-tech projects by intervening throughout the product development process, from the prototype to industrial mass-production.
Headquartered in Paris, the business also has offices in Lyon, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
