Consortium in €6m round for Ambler
A consortium of investors comprising BPI France, Idinvest Partners, Partech and Kima Ventures has backed a €6m funding round for Ambler, a French company that offers a service to manage inter-hospital patient transfers.
BPI France is currently investing via its Digital Venture fund, which held a final close on €300m in December 2011.
Partech deployed capital from its Paris Saclay Seed Fund. The vehicle was launched by French university group Paris-Saclay and backed by BPI France. Partech Ventures and Kurma Partners have been designated as fund managers. A first close was held for the fund on €50m in January 2017.
The fresh capital will be used to continue the company's technological developments, strengthen its operational and commercial teams, and to expand its presence in new French regions.
Previous funding
In February 2019, Ambler raised €1.5m with Partech, Idinvest and Kima Ventures.
