
Elige Capital, Extens invest in Medireport
Private equity firms Elige Capital and Extens have acquired a minority stake in French cardiology software developer Medireport.
The company intends to use the fresh capital to further consolidate its market position in France and boost its expansion in targeted geographies through the opening of new subsidiaries. It also plans to develop a cloud version of its flagship software, Cardioreport.
Elige specialises in supporting the growth and expansion of French SMEs in MBOs, MBIs, OBOs and growth capital investments. It typically deploys tickets of €500,000-2.5m to acquire majority and minority stakes in companies operating in a wide range of sectors.
Extens is a private equity fund dedicated to the European healthcare industry. It invests equity tickets in the €2-15m range in companies generating annual revenues of more than €1m.

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Paris, Medireport offers a modular software suite that allows complete management of cardiology patients' needs and care, from making appointments, monitoring clinical results and statistics, and providing analytics and inventory management to post-hospitalisation follow-ups.
The company employs 20 staff and generates annual revenues of around €4m, of which around 50% comes from outside France.
