
Aglaé, BPI France lead $30m series-B for Livestorm
Aglaé Ventures and BPI france Digital Venture have led a $30m series-B funding round for video conferencing software developer Livestorm.
Raise Ventures and Idinvest also took part in the investment.
The company intends to use the fresh financing to accelerate its product development and boost its expansion, primarily in North America. Livestorm also plans to triple its headcount by hiring 100 professionals across its engineering, sales, support and marketing divisions.
This round brings the total amount raised by Livestorm to date to around $35m.
Previous funding
Following an initial seed round in April 2017, Livestorm raised €4.6m in a series-A round led by Aglaé Ventures in September 2019. Raise Ventures also took part in the investment alongside several angel invesors such as Thomas Rebaud, co-founder and CEO of Meero.

Livestorm is a developer of video conferencing software. Its platform allows businesses to host meetings, online training courses, product demos, conferences and webinars with thousands of participants.
Livestorm manages the entire process, from promotion to post-event ROI analysis. Its platform is used by more than 3,500 companies, including small startups and large corporations, such as Shopify, Honda and Sephora.
