
Aleph Capital leads EUR 100m Series D for InterCloud
Aleph Capital has led a EUR 100m fundraise for cloud connectivity platform InterCloud alongside existing investors Ventech and Open CNP.
InterCloud said the new fundraise will be used to expand its service offering and finance external growth. It will also expand its international sales force starting in Europe, with plans to add 50 sales staff this year.
The company is already present in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.
The Series D brings InterCloud's total fundraising to EUR 138m.
Aleph Capital typically invests EUR 100m-400m in companies driven by secular industry themes. It says it has strong experience in TMT, financial services, and environment and natural resources.
It has also invested in CGI (computer-generated images) provider Framestore and insurance solutions company Darag.
InterCloud last raised a EUR 22m Series C in December 2019, with new investment from Orange Digital Ventures, Open SNL, UL Invest, and participation from existing backers CapHorn Invest, Ventech, Hi Inov, SNCF Digital Ventures and BPI France.
Before that, it raised a EUR 10m Series C in 2017 and a USD 5m Series A in 2014.
