
Foresight invests £4.5m in Hospital Services Limited
British private equity firm Foresight Group has invested £4.5m in Irish healthcare equipment installation and maintenance company Hospital Services Limited (HSL).
HSL managing director Dominic Walsh invested alongside Foresight, as did incoming chair Christopher Langley. On Foresight's side, capital was drawn from the Foresight VCT, Foresight 2 VCT and Foresight 4 VCT vehicles.
The fresh capital will support HSL's growth, as well as a diversification of the business with an aim to deliver a wider range of services to the healthcare industry.

Headquartered in Dublin and Belfast, HSL distributes, installs and provides maintenance for healthcare equipment. The company's main focus areas are radiology, ophthalmic, endoscopy and surgical equipment.

Foresight director James Livingston led the deal for the GP. Domic Walsh is the managing director of HSL.
