Keensight's Sogelink bolts on Atlog
Keensight Capital's and LBO Partners' portfolio company, Sogelink, has acquired Atlog, a French software developer specialising in topography and architecture.
Keensight and LBO Partners did not provide any fresh capital for the deal, which was financed entirely by Banque Palatine, HSBC, Neuflize OBC BNP and BNP Paribas.
Previous investment
Keensight (then R Capital Management) and LBO Partners acquired Sogelink from Initiative & Finance in April 2013, alongside the company's management. At the time, the company generated €17m in turnover and employed 90 staff.
LBO Partners backed the company via its LBO Fund II, which launched in July 2008.
Initiative & Finance had acquired Sogelink in July 2009, taking a 40% stake in the business. The company's founders, Ignace Vantorre and Matthieu Ponson, retained the remaining 60% stake.
The deal was valued at €10-20m, according to unquote" data. LCL provided 55% of the total debt package for the deal, with Banque Populaire Loire et Lyonnais supplying the remaining 45%.
At the time of Initiative & Finance's investment, Sogelink generated €6m in turnover and employed 26 staff.

Its products include Eras, for the study of aerial and underground networks; Atlas, for cartography; Candela, for the management and maintenance of public lighting; and Land2Map, for detailed layouts of systems and networks.
The company employs 38 staff and generated turnover of €12m last year.
Founded in 2000 and based in Lyon, Sogelink is a developer of software for the construction market. The company employs 120 staff and generated €19.1m in revenues last year.
