Siparex, Finorpa back Coquelle
French firms Siparex and Finorpa have invested in Groupe Coquelle, a French provider of goods transportation and bulk shipping services.
Siparex invested via its Siparex Entrepreneurs 1 fund and the Nord-Ouest Enterpreneurs 4 fund. It partially bought out Finorpa's shareholding as part of the deal, taking a 33% stake in the company.
Finorpa, which retained a 4% shareholding, has been a shareholder in the company for 10 years.
A debt package was provided by Banque Populaire du Nord, Societe Generale and BPI France. The debt will facilitate Coquelle's acquisition of French company Trafilog, which generates around €21m in turnover and increases Coquelle's consolidated turnover to €60m.

Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Pas-de-Calais, Coquelle specialises in the national and international transportation of goods on pallets and full loads, as well as bulk shipping of food and waste.
