
Vermeer injects €7m into Compagnie de Bel Air
Vermeer Capital Partners has invested €7m in French campsites operator Compagnie de Bel Air in exchange for a minority stake, according to local media reports.
The business remains controlled by investment company Octant Partenaires, which established it in 2011 as a platform to acquire campsites. Vermeer usually invests €3-30m of equity per deal via its Vermeer Capital FCPR vehicle.
Compagnie de Bel Air is understood to have used the fresh funding to purchase two additional sites.

Established in 2011, Compagnie de Bel Air is a Paris-based operator of campsites, focusing on the higher end of the market. It currently operates two facilities, including one purchased in the summer of 2012.
Compagnie de Bel Air is believed to have posted a €10-11m turnover in 2011.
