Argos Soditic sells Orsyp to EQT's Automic
Argos Soditic has entered exclusive discussions with EQT’s Automic over the sale of IT operations business Orsyp.
According to Orsyp CEO Francois-Xavier Floren, Orsyp and Automic have had a good relationship for several years, and the deal is a natural result of that alliance.
Previous investment
Argos Soditic acquired an 80% stake in Orsyp in January 2008, in a deal financed by BNP Paribas, according to unquote" data.
Company
Established in 1986, Paris-based Orsyp is an IT operations specialist for automating and enhancing the performance of business software. The company also has a presence in the US, Italy, Benelux, Asia and the UK.
Under Argos Soditic's control, the company has expanded geographically and acquired two French companies – Sysload and Streamcore – to support further growth.
Automic is a platform for automating businesses. Founded in 1985, the company developed the world's first automation platform, which supports enterprise, application and infrastructure processes. EQT acquired the company in September 2012.
