I&FP’s SVP bolts on Sedarvi
SVP Transport, a French internal mail transport business owned by Industries & Finances Partenaires (I&FP) since 2009, has bolted on documentation-focused consultancy Sedarvi.
A provider of internal logistics services, Sedarvi will benefit SVP with its strong foothold among financial clients. Given the 2015 figures for both companies, the post-acquisition group will boast a global turnover of €25m.
As part of the changes, Sedarvi founder Christian Rouchouse will pick up a stake in the resulting group and become its CEO.
The deal follows a fairly active start of the year for I&FP. The buy-and-build specialist kicked off 2016 with the acquisition of two new platforms: purchased in late January, Serta ASD will be the starting point of a consolidation scheme within the French aeronautic components segment. Meanwhile, the buyout of IT-focused consultancy Nova Technology from its founding managers in early February will lead to a similar strategy.
Company
Founded in 2014, Sedarvi advises banks and corporates on documentation-related matters. The Paris-headquartered business assists clients with processing and digitising inbound and internal documents.
SVP was created in 1955 and specialises in the distribution of internal post and documents within companies. Headquartered in Gennevilliers, near Paris, the business runs a network of 600 drivers that deliver post across 7,500 locations in the Ile-de-France region. Together with Sedarvi, the company generated €25m in 2015.
