A Plus et al. invest €1.5m in VeryLastRoom
A Plus Finance, Sigma Gestion and Extend AM have injected €1.5m into VeryLastRoom, the French operator of a last-minute hotel booking application.
The capital injection marks the second round of funding for VeryLastRoom. The company previously received €400,000 in seed funding from angel investors in May last year.
The fresh funding will enable VeryLastRoom to double its current workforce over the next three months. The company will also expand its portfolio of hotel offerings and focus more on its marketing efforts.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Marseille, VeryLastRoom has developed an app for making last-minute hotel reservations. Customers can book same-day, last-minute reservations in 1,200 hotels across France, Belgium and Spain.

The app is available on both Android and iPhone. VeryLastRoom claims its app had been downloaded 1 million times at the end of last year. Eight staff are currently employed by the company.
