
Idinvest, Kima in €10m Zenly round
Zenly, a French geolocalisation app, has raised a €10m second round of funding from Idinvest Partners and Kima Ventures, unquote" understands.
The company and its investors declined to comment on the fundraising for the time being, although a source close to the situation confirmed that the round had taken place.
Zenly had previously raised a seed round of financing from Kima, which has now been joined by Idinvest.
Company
Established in 2011, Paris-based Zenly is developing an application allowing smartphone users to locate their friends in real time on a map, with the company claiming an accuracy beyond that offered by competitors. The app is currently free of charge and users can choose to hide their location at any point.
The founders of Zenly had already launched a similar venture, Alert.us, targeting parents wanting to keep track of their children's whereabouts.
