Tiller Systems raises €4m from 360 Capital et al.
Paris-based tech company Tiller Systems has raised €4m from VC 360 Capital Partners and private investors in the startup's second round of funding.
Other investors include business angels Nicolas Sireyjol – the former American Express France CEO – Damien Guermonprez, Thierry Petit and Philippe Bertinchamps.
The fresh capital will help the Paris-based startup expand its team and develop its marketing operations both in its home market and across European.
Tiller Systems hopes to increase the size of its team tenfold by hiring 50 sales representatives in France and abroad.
Francois Collet, who was in charge of the deal at 360 Capital, stated that the main argument to invest was the impressive growth realised by the company over a short period of time, showing that its product aptly meets the needs of the target clientele.
360 Capital is a Paris-based venture capital fund investing mostly in A and B rounds or at seed stage. Its total investments currently amount to €300m.
Previous funding
In 2015, the startup received an undisclosed first round of funding from private investors.
