Nordic hires co-head for DACH, promotes three
Nordic Capital has hired Rainer Lenhard from investment bank Goldman Sachs as partner to co-head its Frankfurt office alongside Joakim Lundvall.
It has also promoted Christian Gylling and Christof Ratjen in London and Thomas Vetander in Stockholm to partner.
Lenhard will focus on Nordic's core sectors of healthcare, technology and payments, and financial services. At Goldman, he focused on European healthcare with a focus on DACH.
Unquote recently reported on the trend of Nordic-headquartered private equity firms increasing their presence and investment activity in the DACH region, and highlighted Nordic Capital as an example. The firm has completed a total of 11 buyouts of DACH-based firms since 2000, five of which have occurred since December 2017, according to Unquote Data.
