
EQT promotes Blecher and de Muynck

EQT Partners has appointed Lennart Blecher (pictured) as deputy managing partner of EQT Holdings, while Patrick de Muynck will become a member of the firm's executive committee.
Blecher, currently head of infrastructure at the firm, will assume his additional role alongside deputy managing partner and head of mid-market Jan Ståhlberg.
Since joining EQT in April 2007, Blecher has started and developed EQT's infrastructure investment advisory business. He has been a partner with the firm and head of EQT Infrastructure for the past six years.
Between 2004 and 2007, Blecher was managing director and senior banker at Unicredit/HypoVereinsbank. Prior to this, he was managing director at GE Commercial Finance and held various positions at ABB.
Meanwhile, partner and head of credit strategies Patrick de Muynck will become a member of the EQT executive committee. He has been with the firm for 12 years and is building up the credit team, which is advising the EQT Credit fund.
