
Lundbeckfond Ventures et al. invest €11.4m in Nexstim
A consortium of investors led by Lundbeckfond Ventures has invested тЌ11.4m in Finnish medical equipment company Nexstim.
The round was led by new investor Lundbeckfond Ventures, with new investor Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company also joining Nexstim´s existing backers HealthCap and Life Sciences Partners (LSP), as well as Sitra and Finnish Industry Investment.
The fresh funds will notably allow Nexstim to expand its sales and marketing activities in Europe, and take advantage of its recent FDA-clearance for marketing in the USA.
Founded in 2000, Nexstim Oy is a medical device company developing Navigated Brain Stimulation (NBS) solutions for brain diagnostics and therapy.
