EQT promotes Sinding to deputy managing partner
EQT Partners has appointed Christian Sinding, a partner and head of EQT Equity, as deputy managing partner of the firm.
Sinding began his career at EQT four years after the firm was founded in 1994, joining from US GP AEA Investors.
A member of the EQT executive committee and chairman of the Equity Partners investment committee at the firm, he was appointed head of EQT Equity in January 2011.
Prior to AEA, Sinding was a financial analyst with US investment banking outfit Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co from 1994-1996.
The new deputy managing partner opened EQT's Oslo office in 2007, and Sinding has had stints in the GP's Stockholm, Munich and Copenhagen offices.
