Ratos-backed Airteam acquires Ventek Ventilation
Swedish listed private equity firm Ratos has supported the add-on acquisition of Danish ventilation systems Ventek Ventilation by the GP’s portfolio company Airteam.
The bolt-on comes eight months after the fund bought Danish ventilation systems company Airteam in a DKK 575m management buyout and is aimed at strengthening Airteam's position in the Danish ventilation market.
Ventek Ventilation will be assumed under the group structure of Airteam, which the GP believes is complemented by Ventek's offering. The acquisition reinforces Airteam's position in the Danish ventilation market, and increases its presence in northern Jutland in particular.
Company
Founded in 1982, Ventek is a supplier of ventilation systems for buildings, including design, installation and maintenance.
The company is headquartered in Nibe, employing 45 people and generating DKK 65m of turnover.
