
Buran VC in €6.9m round for Bonusway
Finnish venture investor Visionplus and Buran VC, a fund focused on central and eastern Europe, have led a €6.9m funding round for Helsinki-based e-commerce startup Bonusway.
The round was structured as a blend of debt and equity, with €3.7m of the total provided as an equity investment, provided by Visionplus and Buran.
Bonusway said in a statement it would use the fresh funding to its user base, client retention and marketing.
Company
Headquartered in Helsinki, Bonusway is a startup managing an e-commerce loyalty programme operating independently of retailers.
The company offers users cash rewards and online shopping advertising to consumers, in order to retain the retailers' existing customers and attract new ones.
Bonusway operates in Finland, Sweden, Turkey and Russia, and is revenue-generating.
