
Tesi co-leads €5m funding round for Oura
Finnish VC firm Tesi has co-led a €5m funding round for healthcare technology company Oura Health.
US-based Bold Capital Partners co-led the deal and introduced US industry specialists Stephen Friend and Kevin Lin to Oura's board.
The fresh capital will be used for the development of new products and to drive expansion in the US, where 60% of Oura's active users are based.
Previous funding
Lifeline Ventures led a $2.8m funding round for Oura (then Ouraring) in 2015, which included a $500,000 R&D loan from Tekes, the Finnish funding agency for innovation.
MIT Labs led a €5m series-A for the business in November 2016.
