
TA backs Norway-based Compusoft
TA Associates has invested in Norway-based Compusoft, a producer of CAD software for bathroom and kitchen manufacturers.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. TA managing director Naveen Wadhera will join Compusoft's board.
TA said it expects demand for kitchen and bathroom modelling services to rise across Europe and other regions. The GP is currently investing from its 12th fund, which closed on $5.3bn in June 2015.

Founded in 1989 in Sarpsborg, Norway, Compusoft provides sales, management, communication, web and business services software for kitchen and bath retailers. The firm's CAD systems include proprietary databases of graphic elements, pricing information and language translations from 2,800 digital manufacturer catalogues. It operates in 14 countries across Europe, as well as South Africa and Australia, and has 12,000 customers, including global manufacturers and retailers.
