FSN-backed Bygghemma bolts on Edututor
FSN Capital-backed Bygghemma, an online retailer of DIY and building materials, has acquired Finland-based Edututor, an e-commerce and marketing specialist for lighting and kitchen products.
According to a statement, Edututor will continue to operate as an independent entity within the DIY segment in Finland.
Following the deal, Bygghemma expects to strengthen its market position and continue to boost its growth in Finland. The company also plans to expand further through new selective acquisitions.
FSN acquired Malmö-headquartered Bygghemma from Swedish investment company Nordstjernan in an MBO inked in October 2016. The GP deployed capital from its €600m FSN Capital IV vehicle to buy the business.
