
Agilitas-backed Reconor buys Hedegaard Miljø
Agilitas portfolio company Reconor Group has acquired Danish waste treatment and transport specialist Hedegaard Miljø.
The selling shareholder, Kim Hedegaard Nielsen, will continue to lead the business and take on responsibility for developing Reconor's international operations.
Agilitas acquired Reconor (then MH Gruppen) in 2015; Hedegaard Miljø is its fourth bolt-on. Golding Capital Partners (an LP in Agilitas 2015 Private Equity Fund) made a co-investment of €1.5m in the holding company.
Reconor employed 240 people at the time of the original investment and has since expanded its headcount to 400.

Hedegaard Miljø was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Nyborg, Denmark. The company specialises in the treatment and transport of waste materials. It has treatment plants in both Denmark and Germany.
