Accel in $9m round for Humio
US-based VC Accel Partners has invested $9m in a series-A funding round for log management software developer Humio.
The capital will be used to address demand for the platform, and invest in additional product research and development. Humio also plans to expand the company's partner network, and grow its sales and marketing programmes.

The fund makes early- and growth-stage investments with a focus on the UK market.
Accel principal Andrei Brasoveanu will join the board of directors, while venture partner Adrian Colyer will join as a board observer.
