Agilitas-backed Recover Nordic buys Aktiv Tankrens
Agilitas portfolio company Recover Nordic has acquired Norwegian hazardous waste management company Aktiv Tankrens.
The transaction was financed by Recover Nordic's own resources.
It is the 16th add-on for Recover Nordic since Agilitas backed the buyout of the group in 2013. The group's revenues are now in the region of NOK 2.5bn and it has 1,800 employee across 85 locations in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
Company
Aktiv Tankrens was founded in 1986 and is headquartered in Oslo. It provides waste management, tank cleaning and tank inspection services to oil companies. The company generated sales of NOK 21m in 2018 and employed 10 people, according to publicly available documents.
