
IK acquires BST
IK Investment Partners (IK) has agreed to acquire fire protection services provider BST Brandskyddsteamet from Swedish investment company Infrea.
IK will draw investment for the transaction from IK Small Cap II, which held its final close on €550m in February 2018.
The founders and management team have remained shareholders. Following the transaction, the company plans to develop the business in other countries in the Nordic region and expand services in the sector.
Since 2016, the company's annual revenues have grown from SEK 220m to almost SEK 340m.
Previous funding
Swedish investment company Infrea acquired the company in 2016.

BST provides a wide range of sprinkler system services, including consultancy, design, installation, repair and maintenance. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and employs approximately 20 people.
