
VC firms back €12m series-A for Kodit.io
A consortium of venture capital firms has invested in a €12m series-A funding round for Finnish real estate investment platform Kodit.io.
New York-based FJ Labs, Austrian investor Speedinvest, Spanish VC All Iron Ventures and Norway-based Adevinta all took part in the round to provide €3m equity funding. Collector Bank provided the remaining €9m as debt.
The company has recently launched in Madrid and plans to expand to Paris, Barcelona and Warsaw this year.

Kodit.io raised €2m in seed funding in August 2018.
Company
Kodit.io was founded in 2017 and is based in Helsinki. It uses algorithms to evaluate and make an offer on properties. It then renovates the properties and sells them. It currently operates in six cities in Finland, as well as Tallinn and Madrid.
