Karma, OpenOcean in €2m round for AppGyver
Karma Ventures and OpenOcean have co-led an additional €2m funding round for Helsinki-based AppGyver, a provider of tools for no-code app development.
The round also saw participation from angel investors. The new funding takes the company's total funding to €10m.
AppGyver will use the fresh capital to accelerate the development of its visual app-builder platform, Composer Pro, and scale up its international expansion.
Previous funding
In March 2014, Initial Capital led a $2.5m seed funding round for AppGyver. OpenOcean Capital also participated.
Subsequently, the company raised $1m from undisclosed investors in July 2012.
In October 2017, AppGyver raised €4.5m in a series-A funding round from OpenOcean, Karma Ventures and Initial Capital.
Company
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Helsinki, AppGyver designs Composer Pro, a no-code visual platform for professional app development. The platform is free for independent developers and small companies with less than $10m in annual revenue. The company has also created a component marketplace where users can share, and potentially sell, what they have created.
