
PE-backed Visma acquires Dutch firm Yuki
Visma, a PE-backed Norwegian cloud software company, has acquired Rotterdam-based accounting software company Yuki.
The deal is Visma's third strategic acquisition in the accountancy software market in a short period, after the takeover of Dutch companies Nmbrs and VisionPlanner.
So far in 2020, Visma has also acquired Zetech, Specter, Draftit, Framsikit, Onguard, Circle Software and Conceptos Consulting.
Hg owns a 63% stake in Visma through Saturn Fund and Hg7. Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC, Intermediate Capital Group, Montagu Private Equity and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board are significant co-investors in the business.
Visma increased its valuation from €450m in 2006 – when Hg first invested in it – to €6.5bn in April 2019. It generated net turnover of €1.53bn in 2019 and has 11,000 employees.

Founded in 2007 and based in Rotterdam, Yuki is a provider of cloud-based accountancy software solutions to businesses. The company is active in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain, and also includes includes invoice recognition platform DizzyData and online dashboarding software supplier Comandi.
