Abry Partners invests in Chimney Vigor Group
Swedish media production company Chimney Vigor Group (CVG) has secured a growth equity investment from private equity firm Abry Partners.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Abry targets investments of $20-200m, according to the firm's website.
Cederquist acted as a legal adviser to the GP on the deal, which follows the merger between Stockholm-based media agency Chimney and US-based tech company OneVigor in September last year.
The investment will help CVG to rapidly deploy and develop its technology, services and outreach. Along with a focus on organic growth, the group will also pursue M&As of companies with relevant technologies.
CVG CEOs Henric Larsson and Magnus Sorlander said in a statement that they were now on the lookout for more top level creatives and talent to join the company.
