
Lugard Road Capital leads $32m round for InRiver
US-based investment firm Lugard Road Capital has led a $32m funding round for Swedish software company InRiver, alongside existing investors Verdane, Industrifonden, Zobito and RoosGruppen.
InRiver, which has so far raised around $56m (€47.9m) in funding, will use the latest proceeds to speed up growth to meet accelerated customer demand, to continue product development, and to further expand into North America, its highest-growth market.
Pareto Securities acted as the sole manager and bookrunner in connection with the investment round.
Previous funding
In 2013, Industrifonden and Zobito invested SEK 20m (€1.9m) in InRiver. In 2015, Verdane Capital invested $10m (€8.6m) in the company. In 2017, InRiver raised €10.5m from existing investors Verdane, Industrifonden and Zobito, and partially through a loan from the European Investment Bank's fund European Fund for Strategic Investments.

Founded in 2007 and based in Malmö, InRiver provides product information management tools, which allow commerce professionals to visually manage product information across various sales channels and in multiple languages. It serves 1,500 brands and 500 customers.
